Is there such thing as a fake overgrip? I am looking at this and i am not sure if it is real or fake. http://cgi.ebay.com/YONEX-SUPER-GRA...QQihZ013QQcategoryZ121147QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Can someone help me out?
I believe they are real, they are the same as these http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageACYONEX-YSGR.html However, tennis warehouse only charge $5.75 for shipping. Also this might be another option downunder if you can not get the Yonex one. http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageACWILSON-PRO30.html
There is such thing as a fake overgrip. In fact, I've got a roll of purple "Yonex" overgrip which came with my Nanospeed 10000 with "BG-65". The NS also comes with a, surprise, fake Nanospeed cushion grip. Just looking at a photo doesn't say much. Someone can easily take a photo of a real product but send a fake. It used to be that looking at the price you could almost tell if it is fake. I think the sellers have caught on. Look at the price of fake Yonex rackets on ebay and the prices are pretty close to real ones sometimes. The best way to be safe if buying on the net is from known trusted sellers.
if that is in fact the picture of the product being sent, then i believe itz the real yonex overgrips. new big rolls they're selling. cheaper than if you buy them 1 pack of 3 grips (typically ~USD$4)
Feeling and quality. The fake one do not have the stickness and usually thinner. Also, the fake one usually flake and stick on the origional grip in just 1 week.
