why the string broken so easily for me my racket never broke string i am a full hard hitters my playing style is fully attacking but somehow i will admit my def and control are not good nothing to do more so that i just play full attacking hard hit all the time but my string never broke too i been used YONEX BG66, BG68TI, BG 85, BG 80, NBG95[CURRENTLY USING] i only change my string when i feel my stirng already loose tension but it never broke, all my friend say i am too wasted to change the string normally every time i change string will use until 6 month i play 4 - 5 times a week i think consider not seldom play for most of the ppl i saw ppl always broke string some is 1 or 2 weeks and some is 1 or 2 days my tension 24.5 pound can someone tell me why ?
strings will always break... if you keep hitting the shuttle with force and friction, the strings will wear and tear too. and because the strings are always PULLED (the tension) it wears out too.
String breaks easily if you mis-hit (off center hit) or use a lot of slice strokes. However, as a hard hitter yourself, I find it's hard to believe BG66 can last you 6 months. However, consider it's a good thing, as you save a lot of $$$.
bg66 is so fragile. i'm not a good player, below intermediate above beginner. and it broke for me so easily. i did slice a couple with it though.
For Me Bg 66 Is Bad String At All But I Find Out Many Ppl Using It Its Too Soft It Willonly Good In Playing For First 3-5 Times After That All Your Require Tension Are Gone Let's Say I Put It 24 Pound As My Ideal Tension But This Tension Only Last 2-3 Times Play After That This Product Are Loose Tension It Cannot Perform The Power That I Want And It Was Too Soft For Me As A Hard Hitters
there are several reasons why strings breaks. 1. how the stringer pulls the string? 2. how tight is the clam? 3. String defective? 4. rusty stringing machine? aside from the usual wear and tear!
increase the tension up to 1-2lbs then all string surely will lose its tension overtime, even when not use, bg-66 if strung by good stringer then tension lost could be minimal.
If your tension only lasts 2-3 playing days with BG66 i would advise you to try a different restringer. I know one player who strings his racket at 28 lbs with BG66 and after a week or two the tension feels less than my 4yr old racket which was strung at 19lbs, i am clad i don't use him... I Have used 6 restringers since i started 17yrs ago and the current one i have used for the past 7 yrs. Every restringer has a different style so you won't know how good other restringers are unless you try them.
im going to start stringing as soon as i get a scale to calibrate my machine, but my question today is why do mishits/ off center hits cause strings to break more rapidly than direct 'sweetspot' shots?
sweetspot hits distribute the load evenly over the entire stringbed, allowing all forces to be absorbed evenly, minimizing stresses on any given string. mishits direct the entire release of energy upon the edge of the stringbed, and concentrating the forces on the few strings it strikes upon. the centers of the entire string can move a lot easier too, absorbing energy, while the edges are a lot stiffer so it can't take as much force before breaking.
Strings is bound to break or snap. It can be due to mishits, or the strings got injured during stringing session.
Did you check the racket's grommets to see if any of them require replacing? It is possible that the racket's grommets are worn out that and causing the string to break easily if this is left unattended.
