cool that's cool. do you go to there every Monday? will you go there this THURSDAY? say sth about you, then i could tell if we played together.lol last night was my first time there, wore blue t-shirt and blue shorts. i am a Chinese woman.
hahaha... got it, you are her!!! now i think i know who you are. very nice to meet you, hope we could play together often!
Greetings I was planning to play there this Monday, but I wasn't sure how the competition is there so I didn't attend (not to mention that my job kept me quite busy all week this week so I was pretty tired afterwards and went home to crash). Could you please give me an idea of how the competition is there and whether it is usually full? I went online and the Park Board website states that there are still 18 openings, but want to confirm. Any feedback would be great as I would like to take my girlfriend there to hit the shuttle around. Thanks in advance.
GF!!? Excuse me but, when did you find the time to get a gf? I know I'm off topic but..., how's about you & your gf joining us to play in the Washington Open on the May long weekend? I may need a open MD partner. Cheers!
Hi, i'm from calgary I will also be visiting Van for the may long weekend, it's my first time playing badminton in vancouver heard many great things there. About the "Washington Open" on the may long weekend is that an open tournment? I tried searching for it online but didnt' come up with anything can you enlight me on it, would like to join a tournment while I'm there would be awesome too. Hope to hear back from you.
Yes, the washington open is a great tournament to go to. you can get the entry forms from the North west badminton association website.
If you are planning for the WA Open, pending on which events you're planning to play, your "visit to Vancouver" might turn out to be a direct flight to Washington State USA rather than a drive-through of Hongcouver . If you are serious about playing in the WA Open, or planning to drive down, PM me cause I am co-ord the hotel reservations for my group. Cheers!
I'll probably be there next Monday also. By the way, rallying against you and your friend was good practice for my footwork. Thanks!
i will be there next monday alone i think.lol , i am afraid i can't find a partner there, i mean most of you are there with fixed partner ,right?
i haven't practice almost for two years, lol, it was really a good practice, sore full next few days.:crying:
Hi, thanxs for all the replies to my post Break My String, ....guess I can't go to WA Open because like you said it might turn out to be a Washington State trip instead of " Hongcouver " trip. Driving down going to be sore but oh well it's worth the trip to eat good FOOD! Miss the 11bucks Westjet deal....boy should have bookmark that website as my homepage. BTW where is Roundhouse and is there drop ins?
Roundhouse is near the GM Place/ Stadium. It's not next door, but a 20~25min walk from Stadium Skytrain station. http://www.roundhouse.ca/index.php?module=pagemaster&PAGE_user_op=view_page&PAGE_id=18 They do have drop-ins, but they fill up pretty fast.
