Goodbye NS9000. It was good knowing you for such a short time. Nothing dramatic like a clash of rackets. Was warming up playing singles and tried to retrieve a drop. Racket met court mat (the pro type) and court mat won. Frame cracked at 3 o'clock. Gives me a chance to try out the new AT-900 though
i thot pro mat is rubberized. U must have hit it pretty hard. I hit my rackets (3u mp99, 3U&4u AT800) on hardwood glued to concrete floor quite often, never broke any of mine rackets yet.
Yes, I'm surprised the pro mat did my racket in. I didn't think I hit it that hard but my friend thought I did. I suppose I wasn't paying much attention and hadn't noticed until my clears started losing steam. That was when I checked and found that crack. Never happened to me this way before
wow, too many stories of cracked racket for the ns type huh? does that mean it is not worth the price. or are you guys happy with it no matter what?
Well as far i'm concern i'm happy with it. This is the 2nd NS 9000 that i retired. The first one broke at the shaft as you can see at this thread http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13653&page=9 The second one has survived many BIG CLASHES and yet did not break which i myself surprised since its tensioned at 30lbs. SO i decided to give let it rest in peace before it give way and break into pieces.
I'm pretty happy with the NS9000-X. Still have another one which has survived some clashes. Just curious about the AT900 that's all.
This is the fracture i just realised. It was just a hairline fracture days ago with the chips. It seems that its getting worse. Good thing i didn't use it, if not it may give way. Its still 30lbs with Nanogy 95
