Default Carlton Rasmussen vs. Yonex Isometric 800

Which one should I buy and why? Any specs on either of the two would be appreciated too!

Ive tried both of these rackets. The Yonex Isometric Tour 800 is head heavy, the Carlton Rasmussen, if i remember correctly is even balanced. I would suggest that if you like power go for the Yonex, otherwise, if you like fast doubles games, go for the Carlton.

Thats provided you can still find the Yonex

    That's quite good.
Go with the yonex: It's more durable.
Even if Carlton calls the rasmussen a high tension frame,
the tour800 is much more solid and compared with other
yonex 2U rackets (TI10 or MP77) still very balanced.

Iso800 is solid for sure. I had one before and with numerous clashes it was still in good condition. The best racquet I've used so far. Power and control is great and perfect head heaviness. I'm still trying to find one for a good price. I might just buy the CN version for collecting purposes.

AFAIR Rasmussen is balanced to the head but slightly. AsTi is really even balanced. It CAN withstand high tension but I wouldn't recommend you to hit it when it is stringed tough. As for 800 - never tried.

I disagree. I found the Rasmussen frame to be very solid, as indeed all Carltons are. It plays well with high tension. There were some QC problems with the handles though, but that should have been solved by now.

Maybe the one I knew (Past Indefinite) had problems with QC.
Yet I was and I am a Carlton fan.

Tad's on Granville and 72nd Ave. But, to everyone else who wants to get this racquet for this deal, I just heard rumors that Tad's may not have it anymore because it just became discontinued. I might not be able to get it either. sob...
