You can smash @ 400 km/h. So what. It goes out, you lost the point. It goes into the net, you loat the point. So what is the point of best smashing racquet?

That's if he gets to smash in the game.

I dunno, I personally like the Cab series. If you can hit the true sweetspot for say, Cab 30 or 20, you draw more power from the smashes than maybe a AT 700 or an AT800OF would. But I haven't tried the rackets like Ti10 (only a few swings) or the AT 900, so I can't make a comparison with those.

i'd say the at 900 can generate more power than the cab20muscle or maybe i just go better/stronger since i last used cab20muscle =P

from yonex chart, ----> ns9000x and i think it's true if hit by superman
but figure that all energy and swing speed equal, at-700 help you improve the smash speed for human player.

do a search, you'll find a lot of good reviews about various racquets.

BTW... Kryptonite was discovered recently in a mine... so....
Best of luck in your search :D

I'd recommend the AT700, it might not have the fastest smash around, but you can do powerful smashes without as much effort, a NS9000X will probably have a more powerful smash if you can swing the racket insanely fast, but you'd have to put in more effort to smash at the same speed as an AT700.

Sotx Woven 11... It's a friggin weight to swing around...

but the smashing is insane...it's 680mm logn (5mm longer than the yonex thingy's) 91grams (2U) and slightly headheavy...

Let's say you get a racket who generates a 250 km/h smash for you, and you face an opponent with a superior defence. What happens then? You'll probably loose bigtime.
    Because:
    1. If you can't hit the line every single time, or play a long rally to really draw your opponent completly out of position, you'll not win the point.

And 2. Your opponent will likley use his/her defensive skills to convert your attack into his/her attack, and since you have a racket that only generates power, and only focuses on genreating power and not a decent defence, you'll be dead meat.

About a year ago I was able to defeat my coach in a singles match, after the match I noticed that I was compleeetly exhausted, while he seemed to had only warmed up. He told me that while I was using insane amounts of energi, and very little accuracy, he was doing the oposite. Very little energy used per stroke, but making it as precice as possible. This really made me change my game completly.

Sorry if it's a bit offtopic.

uncle fester, i think that's why he is your coach. i think you probably defeated him within a 5 point range and ur coach didn't smash much cept maybe 2 or 3 times the whole game rite? =P hehehe...
power racket or not, that's for him to decide, maybe he feels pretty good about his defense and looking for more power =P

You're quite right. But the lesson he learned is something that alot of people should take into consideration when searching for more power.

If you can flex these rackets:

    Woven 7i, Woven 11, 2U NS9000-X, 3U AT700. 2U Ti10, Cab 23

However, defense will be lacking (relatively speaking).

The Woven 7i maybe the best combination. I'm still testing...
