I'm surprised it isn't full on lederhosen.. Um.., this is definitely not the correct attire. Why would you wear a tie??? Those outfits are way too formal for badminton and the last one is just kind of traumatizing..

I see. Well, I've always hated having badminton considered a backyard game, anyway.

hey, there was a couple occasions where me and a few friends had to dress up for school, the full deal, suit and tie, etc.
after completing the business at hand, we go down to the courts and just see who's there.
a few of our other friends were playing, and so we'd just drop the jacket, pick up a racquet, and hit around for a bit.

you can't play a super serious semi finals of a provincial tournament style game, but anything from a light hearted rally to a semi-enthusiastic game is certainly possible.

and its good or interesting and sometimes funny, to see the reactions from the casual/recreational/go play once a month kind of players.

yeah, i think this is more suitable for the day party by the pool near the garden and after nice cup of tea and a bit of scones, they'll hit a few birdies on the grass area. while others are gossiping and sipping earl grey. and yes, i would die laughing if taufik and lin dan wore these in the finals.
