we use chicken shuttles. hear me right chicken shuttles. they cost like 2$ a tube and last really long but they are not meant for serious play, just recreation. but if someone made it better(yonex)instead of our local chaps, im sure its feasible

Much more room on the thread could be saved by folks making comments based upon the Badminton content of a thread rather than the style used by the author! I have noticed on this and other forums that those who make the most errors, such as lack of proper capitalization and punctuation, misspelling of even common words, and wandering off subject, are the first to criticize others!!
I recommend that when using a Quote, please 'CROP OUT' the parts of the Quote that do not regard the Reply. That way, it is easier for the reader to determine what in the previous thread, which he has already read, the Reply is actually about, and saves rereading the entire previous thread just to figure it out!!
PS: I always endeavor to make my Reply as clear as possible, and do not resort to using colors, fonts, or other options to send a 'secret message' about the true intent of my Reply!!
PPS: These threads are written by people from all over our world, and no one should hesitate to Reply due to their limited English language skills. However, we should each compose the best message that we can, and then take the time to edit it to ensure that it is clear, accurate, easy to read, and positive!!

yes they are overpriced too much, i am getting 100 dozens from a chinese factory directly at $9 per dozen. I've tested a few, i feel they are much better than the ones sell $14+ in the US, they are comparable to those $18 ones. anyone want some?

Mavis 500's - get them... unless you're elite or money isn't an issue.
My group just had 2 hours of good fun and the shuttle's still in very good shape... 1 tiny broken bit...
Yes feather cock's are very expensive, more expensive than golf balls... I use premium golf balls and they're about 70 AUD for a dozen but I use on average 1.5 a round...
One tube a session is exxy... (our shuttles last about 2/3 of a game)
Mavis people MAVIS!!!
