I was amazed when i saw my classmates and my coach in badminton who are right handers use their left hand in hitting. could you imagine it to train your left hand or right hand (the one you dont normally use for writing etc.) like a new slate to to become souly used for badminton.

I've been able to use my opposite (right) hand pretty well for throwing, volleyball, table tennis, racketball and some tennis strokes (serve, smashes, FH groundstrokes, and emergency shots). However, using my right arm for badminton is quite a bit more challenging than those other sports -- still feel very spastic.

Swtiching hands for various tasks is xcellent for brain development!

I've tried playing badminton with my left hand, but I probably look like any other beginner, I know how I'm supposed to be hitting the shuttle, but I just can't co-ordinate the movement and timing together lol,

it's not simply switch hand and start hitting but you actually switch for footwork too...don't forget that

When I play against newbies I play with left hand. I usually miss the shots or there not strong shots.
