the two "asian" guys are actually Howard Bach and Bob Malaythong, the #1 US MD pair.
despite that, the commercial itself is pretty lame.

I recognized Howard...
but darn....Americans... You'd expect they did at least sómething right if you hire in two professional players...Last edited by jerby; 05-03-2007 at 01:41 PM.

i doubt he designed and directed the commercial. he was probably hired to do it without knowing any details.

I want the 30 seconds of my life back that I just wasted watching this commercial!
That's probably the lamest and visually most unprofessional commercial I've ever seen. I mean, just look at the bald fatso diving to the net
. What the heck why didn't they just hire 4 professionals instead of just two?
I feel sorry for Bach having taken part on this.

Yup, that's the one...
...thx for providing the link
i was quite surprised also when i saw Urlacher launching himself for that birdie, without helmet, padding...anyways, it's just a pointless humor at badminton..

No wonder ESPN rank badminton lower than baseball.

I'm sure that commercial will have done a lot of good for badminton, since there are 2 "famous" baseball players in it. Besides, it's better for people to think it's an easy sport instead of a hard sport, if it's easy more people will be tempted to try it out =p
what we need is some badminton commercials in the UK with famous football stars...

what the crap was that? LOL
I was laughing too hard to understand what it was about...
edit: oh nvm... it was about water

come on guys, it was obviously created for amusement. Seeing a football player & baseball player doing their own routine was funny. Oh, and I want to smash like Ortiz ROFL

I wonder if Bob and Howard had second thoughts about the commercial. Granted they really need the extra money, but the way it was done put badminton in a very bad light and it was very lame.
