Currently it's very difficult to find some free-license (without copyright) images about badminton players. I know there is people in this forum who have taken photos with some badminton players, or has taken a photo of the player in the court. If you uploaded these kind of photos in Wikimedia Commons, there could be a nice gallery of free-license badminton player photos, and they also could be used in Wikipedia to ilustrate articles about badminton players (see Peter Gade or Zhang Jun). I think it's a good way to have a common collection of photos classified in categories. Now there are only a few pictures, but if everybody collaborated, perhaps we could have a gallery like the tennis players one. well, its a start i guess. what annoys me is not that i cant photos, but that they're always really low res. a lot of time i want to do some photoshopping or something but all the photos are wayy too low q. (speaking of which, does anyone know any good badminton wallpapers? the only ones i can find are the ones from the 2004 thomas/uber cup) what we should do is make a badminton wiki and ask ppl to contribute by adding lots of photos. idk, probably not an easy project (hosting, promotion) anyone up for it tho?
well, who else is more appropriate than BC making one ourselves. actually, i have had plans to do it in the month. a wiki will be very handy in capture not only some player pics/stats, also other wealth of knowledge we have accumulated here in the forum.

Great idea But why not doing it in Wikipedia? There's a lot of information there, and more people knows it, so perhaps more people could join us. And I'm sure it would be less work for kwun if it's already created. Anyway, if you decide to create a this WikiBadminton, I'll try to help all I can. jpdzahr , very nice photos!
