Overall, I believe the quality of Victor shuttle dropped quite a bit, and very inconsistent. 1-2 yrs ago, I bought 50 tubes (same batch) of VC3. 1st box (25 tubes) seems work fine, but the 2nd box disappoint me quite a bit. The durability was terrible, due to the feather itself.
Unless you can find it with a very decent price, and use them for practice or not-too-competitive games, better stay out, and go for other alternatives.

quality doesn't match the name. break too easy even with steaming.

Same goes with VC #1 with the corks getting dented/crubling in easily.

then what do u guys recommend that are easily obtainable in the u.s?

if you're in cali, your choice is a lot wider then if you're in a mid-size town in eastern canada like me. I don't know what can you get in SF. but I know in kingston, ON, Canada there is no store that would carry feathe shuttle.

You can try Yonex AS-40, or Black Night 6600.
