Recently i had purchased the new ti-10 but after playing with it for 2 days, ive come to realize that applying wrist power cant generate enough power. My racket i used was a Ns 7700 with medium flex and slight head heaviness made it easy to wrist smash, but now i think i need a faster swing speed. Any training techniques are greatly appreciated. Thanks to all who contributed =]

this is why we test racquets before we buy them :p, just play with it more, you'll get used to it and get stronger. weight training your wrists could help too.

Hit the shuttle in front of you and plus the supination and pronation of the forearm.
Plus lot of practice from a feeder.

Nowaday, it is not about wrist work for power smash anymore.
Wristwork is useful for steep angle shot though.

I agree with Lam, you just need to get adjusted to the racket's characteristic and allow your arm and wrist to grow stronger.
