Li Mao can get anything he wants as long as it is for the benefit of Indonesia as a nation
IMHO just provide anything he ask for as long as it is sensible and not a selfish request
for the sake of Indonesian badminton, that is if he could prove himself useful
I bet he will be useful

I just realised that Tommy Sugiarto won another IC title about 3 weeks ago, in Iran. No wonder his ranking is 30 now!
His recent records are indeed impressive, losing only to:
P. Kashyap 21-18, 17-21, 18-21 in the India GP 2010
P. Kashyap 14-21, 16-21 in the BAC 2010
9 matches in the past 11 months, winning:
Iran, Bahrain, Malaysia, and Laos IC titles.
I think he has a chance to break into the top 20.

Tommy also won 2 domestic titles (Sirnas Bali and Medan) last year.

All the three top Indonesian MS players were bundled out in yesterday's AE. The low scores also added insult to injury.
What is the problem?

Sony is still not 100% fit (long-term injury).
Taufik has been travelling around from Jakarta to Surabaya to Batam, then back to Surabaya, Jakarta, China, before reaching Birmingham. Fatigue is one factor.
As for Simon....still inconsistent.

The moment when I read about Li Mao getting a doctor into his team,
I knew he must have spotted those injured players

instead of curing those injured players
he better create new players
he must find new talent to replace those "old" players

Looks like Li Mao is one guy who would do anything to rival LYB.
Good that he is doing all these things it will give China a lot of healthy competition.
Also very sensible of PBSI being so open minded, unlike others who only make a lot of noise and complaints.
LM could do to Ina what Park JB has done for Japan and ina is not ashamed to admit that they have to re-invent themselves even though they are a traditional power.

No choice and desperate..I saw how LM trains.....now many INA players speak little Mandarin...like" good morning:, etc..haha...anyway..LM and doctor are very tied connection...many coaches expressed how come LM gets what he wants..as long as there is a result...we do not mind

In any case a team doctor will be a benefit to the team. Thumps up to Li Mao to go through such profesional strategy and into the detail matters.
