Contract problem....again???
Oh dear....another familiar issue arised yet again before 2 important tourneys....money....with players' contract money from Yonex yet to be released by PBSI
Flandy even lamented...."3 months without pay"......
The amount is US$125,000 or Rp 1.2 Billion for the period of May-July 2007, which is the players' main source of income and it is overdue for more than a month now.
Appartently, the money has already been given by Yonex, but yet to be transferred to players' accounts, since the approval has yet been signed by the head of PBSI. So, Taufik Hidayat, acting as a representative for the players is wondering where is the money stuck now and how come it take so long for Sutiyoso (PBSI's head) to sign the letter to release the funds to the players

Title: Players Demand Contract Money
Source: BolaNews
Pemain Tuntut Uang Kontrak
Keresahan melanda pemain Pelatnas Cipayung.
“Kasihan mereka, sekarang apa-apa naik. Tolong deh,” ujar Taufik.
“Saya hanya minta hak kami dibayar.
(Broto Happy W.)

This problem has been there for years and years.....I commented a while that Sutiyoso is not the right figure to run Badminton organization....let alone as Asian Badminton President....if you can not manage your household, how you could manage the whole villages...
This is embarassment for Sutiyoso. I hope He fixes it otherwise more players will leave for other countries....or quit and move to other clubs like Djarum..
You can not blame the players to bring this matter out to news media as Nova said that they have hard time to meet Sutiyoso and Taufik suggested how difficult to sign the fund release which had been agreed upon....
Indonesia....Indonesia....I think it is time to have petition to retire Sutiyoso...Last edited by huangkwokhau; 09-06-2007 at 09:55 PM.

The classic matter, PBSI always demand achievement from the players without totally commitment to fulfill their right. Contract money and bureaucracy are primary obstacles that make all shuttlers desperately how to overcome this problem. No intensive communication between players and PBSI top-level official.
INA's economic condition become worst and worst, all prices had raised including highway, gasoline and don't know what will get impact of tariff-adjusted in upcoming days. With IDR.600.000 only, definitely this pocketmoney isn't enough and too minimal even lower than DKI Jakarta's UMR (Upah Minimum Regional) or Regional Minimum Wage standard. Really pathetic!

I'm not surprised when people refer to him as a playboy. In the past, he dated Gong Ruina. Now, I heard Zhao Tingting likes him a lot...
