I think PBSI will select at least 2 pairs..for WS and MS, I hope that PBSI will take 3...Engga, Nandang and Adi Pratama....Linda,Alfa and Tike...
I saw some matches at Cipayung...they used 4 courts and 2 linemen only for each court.......
I did not know that Tike has moved from Djarum to Surya Naga....correct me if I am wrong as last Kejurnas, she represented Djarum.....

There is big mistake, The winner is :
Annisa/Rani followed by deby Susanto/Komala Dewi ( both are from djarum)
I am glad that Anissa won as she is so petite..if she has not won, n ot sure PBSI will select her or not due to her size...........
There was mistake on press release....

New season has been started, and interesting to watch who are INA's Junior squad after shuffle by changing of age limit in every category.
Under U-16
Boy's singles & Doubles, come "new" name Arief Gifar (Djarum) & some Jaya Raya players in Single & Doubles.
Girl's Single & Double Mutiara took domination by Elizabeth, Tiara Rosalia & Rizky who are member INA's U-16 in 2007 too.
Under U-19
After left by Nandang Arief & Adi Pratama, the place U-19 BS will give to Engga Setiawan who won National Selection a week before. Engga back to play again after banned for a year by PBSI & Djarum.
BD, come "new" name Budi/Rendy from Ratih and some Djarum's players like Ulinnuha, Berry Anggriawan, Didit Juang etc
GS, INA has "old" name like Maria Febe, Febby Angguni.
New name, posibly Alfa Vivianita, Cisita Jansen (if both still in U-19 category), Ganis (ex Djarum's players who moved to Ratih) or ex U-16 Ayu Pratiwi & Gebby.
GD, will be fielded by Annisa Wahyuni/Nimas Rani of Djarum.
Linda Weni & Wifqi/Afiat weren't play in Junior anymore.
Linda won in Women's Single.
Good results by Wifqi/Afiat who beat more senior pair, Rio Wilianto/Davin P.
In the past I thaught Rio/Davin were better than Bona/Ahsan when they trained in Jaya Raya.Last edited by Sandy; 02-19-2008 at 04:01 AM.

(2008) All England to expose Indonesia's badminton woes
Indonesia, once a dominant power in the sport, sees little chance of bringing home some titles from the All England badminton championships, local newspaper said Tuesday.
Indonesia's last All England champs were Sigit Budiarto and Chandra Wijaya in the men's doubles in 2003.
The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) has very few prospects seen as having any chance at upsetting the dominant Chinese and winning a title, said English daily The Jakarta Post.
Among those few players are men's doubles world champions Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan and mixed doubles world champions Nova Widianto and Lilyana Natsir.
"We are slow in finding new talent and grooming them early," two-time All England champion Hariyanto Arbi was quoted as saying.
"That's why we lack outstanding players now," said the 34-year-old shuttler-turned-businessman.
Meanwhile, 58-year-old Ade Chandra, also has won twice in the world's oldest badminton tournament, said that early training for younger shuttlers was needed to make them shuttlers.
"They (the association) should start grooming talented shuttlers from the time they are nine years old instead of the current policy of after 17 years old," said Chandra.
He said many parents now were reluctant to send their children to badminton clubs because they were concerned that badminton could not provide a good future.
"Life for many shuttlers is difficult after they retire because they don't have any other skills but playing badminton," he said.
He said even he preferred his children focus on their studies rather than join a badminton club.
He called on the association to retain former badminton stars to help coach young players across the country and to provide those former shuttlers decent salaries.
Many former prominent players -- including two-time All England men's doubles champion Rexy Mainaky and doubles specialist Tony Gunawann -- left Indonesia to coach or play abroad for more money.

Contrary, I think INA has good chance in MX & MD. Hopefully GL/ZB rift continues and smoothen the path for Nova/Butet or Flandy/Vita.
MD will be more of a problem with MK/HS dismal record against KKK/TBH.
