I'm having trouble when putting it on the racket, i can't have it so that it doesn't overlap. How should I do it?

Another point, actual towel grips like the Yonex ones, is there a tapered end like with the super grap so it's easy to apply? or is it just a rectangular piece of towel?

Sorry, don't know much about homemade towel grips so i can't help you out there. As for the Yonex towel grips, they do have a tapered end that really helps out.

    Its tapered. at the end.
You could use a roll of tape... any kind, just nip off a small piece, roll it to get it to stick on your tapered end, to start it off and hold the towel there.

Obviously the end part does not have to be precisely tight against the handle itself...
If you dont want to use a small piece of tape, use your own hand, and hold it as close to the end as you can, as you wrap the first layer around, then work your way up.

    Cheers.
