Just got back my restrung NS9K, never seen this pattern b4... Can someone tell me is this stringing pattern normal? thx
No, check if the frame is damaged also. I think one if the hole was enlarged and the frame might be cracked.
I'm not a stringer but I do own 2 nanospeed9ks, it seems like the stringer turned one of grommet holes for the main for the cross instead. So, I would say the stringing pattern is erratic.
It is a very unique pattern and with alot of creativity... I wouldn't go back to that stringer again.
Hi Darren, I hope the racquet is not damaged internally. I have to applaud the stringer for being creative .
This pattern is totally wrong , by shifting 1 more gromment from T6 and T7 in main. Definitly need to go back to ask for the refund, and never go back there for job any more. And btw, why seems the string frays like crazy all over the string bed?
Looks like the stringer took a bar of wax and rubbed it on the surface of the string bed. The stringer must be from the OLD SCHOOL days.
ROFL... I might not have seen the string pattern for the at800's and NS series up until I started playing again 2 months ago, but... Even I have the sense to know that is not a proper string job... Wow... sorry for your loss there bud.
IS THE STRING GREASED? go and ask for a refund and kindly show him a picture of a correct way of stringing and the frame seems a little deformed
No it looks like candle wax... I know some people used to rub candle wax on their strings, in some sort of belief it will help their strings last longer. I tried when I was younger, but just got a bunch of wax falling all over my head when I started to play the next day and it deadended the feel of the strings somehow...
wahhh.. I need to find a big vat or rain barrel to fill with wd40... LOL but I'm afraid I'll get kicked out for the fire hazard on the strings, or dripping and dropping oil all over the place
ya... the wax is everywhere on my string... Anyway, thx for all the advise... I will try the string for this afternoon session... hopefully won't break my racket coz of internal damaged??
if ur racket is 24lbs and under, with that wrong string job, it should be fine. if not, then u might have some serious problem. the grommet is off by one whole like ppl above said.
