    It means the level of bending of the shaft. 5 being the stiffest and 1 being the most flexible.

    To what I've seen on other charts, the chart shown above is:

    Top: Head Heavy
    Bottom: Head Light
    Left: Hold
    Right: Repulsion

    The 2008 yonex racket chart is crap compared to the 2007 graph. I don't get what "hold" means. What is yonex trying to say?

    I think 'hold' is just the opposite of repulsion, meaning it has a firmer feel and probably stiffer.

    That doesn't look right.

    Yonex lists the NS9000S as "stiff" and the NS9000X as "extra stiff". They are to the far right of the chart.

    So it looks like

    Right = Stiff
    Left = Flex

    ?

    Hi everyone,

    Does Yonex still publish any of the charts anywhere?
    i once saw it at a retailer recently, should have taken a photo of it.

    looking for a racket to replace my high sch era Carbonex 7 Long... developed a fracture some years back. now the frame eating into each other causing distortion...

    now that i'm done with uni... can finally go a bit upscale... haha

    They are found in the Yonex catalogues. There are a few PDFs here on the forum you can download and the charts will be in there.

    hmm.. saw those XY chart... not exactly what i had in mind...

    something like these below.... i managed to get a couple o clear shots of the Carbonex section of the list... the rest are unclear cos the lamination causes out of focus for the text. (resized to fit forum limits)

    Any one has any leads on where to find this? else i cab go back and try taking down the rest for everyone if you all find it useful
