so the vancouverites on here seem to be pretty friendly. i will be heading there for a training seminar from the 29-31 of may and would like to get in a game out there.

i'll be staying in Richmond pretty close to the Richmond Pro Badminton Centre but am willing to go anywhere (within reason).

anyone want to hit with a 30y/old (over the hill) B level player? mostly doubles (my singles game really sucks) and mixed.

let me know cause i'd like to get something set up or i won't haul my gear with me. :)

    thanks!

If you're the type that wants to play until the wee hours (2-3AM), check out the drop-in at Yumo.

If you don't mind playing with 35yo+ low intermediates, come and play with us. We play at RichmondPro every Tues & Thur, 6-8pm.

Only in Vancouver Racquets Club do you need to get signed in by a member. Clear2 rent out their courts, so you could join up with LoveJoy and his group. Just have to pay your share of the rental fee (~$10).

I've got a tube or so of vancouver rated shuttles you can have. They're sitting on my shelf in the garage. I'm not going to be playing the rest of the year. So if you want'em, let me know and I'll find a way to get them to you.

I've also got a VRC pass somewhere. if I find it, you can have it too.

    Cheers

Great time! It was a great pleasure to meet the Great Master SOBeach (Steven) and special thanks to Master Cappy75 who signed him in. Master SOBeach was trained by Keith Chan. Nephrus and I couldn't handle both Master Cappy75 and SOBeach :D:D:D. Can't wait for his return visit in summer. :D:D:D

You should've taken advantage of the fact that he's still getting used to his new racket! Growler and me had excellent games with cappy75 and sunofabeach. Excellent as in "fun," and not "winning."

Save us a game next time you're in town. Great meeting ya'.

Thanks for the games, sunofabeach! I had loads of fun partnering with you. Sorry for not mixing it up more, I was sure we could have gotten more games in with different players. It's too bad that Wednesday's really busy. Hopefully we'll be able to oblige you games with everybody in our group the next time you visit;).
