Ti 7 with BG65 or BG70Pro
i'm currently using BG 65 at around 21 lb tension (probably went down to 20 already)
anyways, i need some opinions on string that i should use the next time i get this racket restrung.
My situation is that i play with nylon birdies, although i do have some feather birdie, i don't play with those that often.
In school, we also use nylon and i heard that BG70 Pro is for playing with nylon also...but on the other hand some people also say that the string is a lot stiffer than BG 65. What about the power wise?
Which one will produce more power, last longer, and keep tension?
Thanks, Please give me some feedback on both the strings and what you recommend.

Are you playing with nylon shuttles with cork base or nylon base?
If using nylon base shuttle with BG65, the shuttle will slide a lot on the racquet. Very difficult to keep control. At that time, I switched to using Ashaway strings.

Well, in school i guess we play with cork base
Yonex Mavis 300 is cork base right??
as of other practice outside of school, it's nylon base...

Re: Ti 7 with BG65 or BG70Pro
Yucks, nylon base shuttles.
My personal opinion would be to avoid BG65.
I haven't tried BG70pro. You might have to just try it out yourself and see how it works out for you.
About power, using nylon based shuttles are really bad. You'll find you can develop massive power, then when you move up to feathers, you'll think "Hey, where did all my strength go". That's what happened to me. I think playing with nylon base is bad for technique.

Re: Ti 7 with BG65 or BG70Pro
I usually play with corkbase birdies at school, only play with nylon like twice a yr.
So it doesn't really matter...
What's the biggest difference between the two strings?

not the spongy kind, but the dense foam type. The one i saw was a carlton brand lying on the floor because nobody want to claim them
