Compare every bit of detail of the fake one to a real one. But if u wanted people on BC to look at it, post some pictures and be sure to include the serial numbers. =]

if you've bought this from a seller who says it's brand new, absolutely genuine and you managed to get for some crazy amount like usd50, then it's most likely a fake.

your racket looks legit, but this isnt taking into consideration the serial number, which i dont know how to evaluate. you shoul get a confirmation from the Post your Yonex serial numbers here! thread on your serial numbers.

if you want confirmation please use the thread above.

after looking at the pictures and comparing the serial with some other genuine racquets, i am quite sure that the racquet is genuine :).

UK rackets should be fine. There have not been reports heard on the forum regarding counterfeit UK coded rackets.

Yep, the racket is genuine. Serial numbers are correctly engraved, and its UK distributer. Another thing that muscle power 99's show its legit is the plastic protection thing( don't know what i would call it =/) right next to the t-joint =]

Thanks everyone - its great to know its definitely the real thing.
Unlike what some people say I think if you ask the right questions and are sensible you can get a good racket at a reasonable price on Ebay and I certainly think this is an example of that.

    Thanks again Jonathan

I don't understand how you can determine whether it's a fake with a string bed stencil or not. I mean, how to make a red symbol, on the black string??? At least, I can't do it... :(
