    Hi everyone,

I am a new member who has never played in Badminton but it is very interested to learn the sport. I have heard so much good stuff about the benefits and fun of badminto. For starters, do you know of anyone who teaches badminton somewhere in the West Side of Phoenix, Arizona?

    Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :crying:

Thank you and have a great weekend.

If you just start, I recommend you to contact local recreatino centers or YMCA, sometimes, they offer badminton programs, or even group lessons. Also, sometimes, local college / HS badminton team / club could be good choices as well, however, access to the gym might not be avaiable for everyone.

    Thanks!

Thank you, but I have tried that already and they offer group classes on weekdays only. I go to work so I don't think I can make it. That's the reason why I did my post just in case there is someone within my vicinity who can spare some time to offer a class.

I appreciate your thoughtfulness in responding.:p

I would suggest that you try contacting the Arizona Badminton Association at http://www.azbadminton.net/ and see whether anyone knows of a place close by.

The site mentioned summer camps for all levels and ages.

    Good luck.
