I'm using those at the moment and I find its flight better than Aeroplane Green. Durability is slightly better than Aeroplane Green.

I have tried Xin tournament shuttles and found that compared to Epsilon, Yang Yang, Hi Qua, Aeroplane- they are slow. The flight does not seem as consistent as the others. They are due to have International Tournament Grade arriving soon but I have not tried them.

The Xin tournament shuttlecock are $22 per tube while RSL Classic and Tourney No.1 tubes are selling for $25 and $24 respectively in my area. So should i pay a bit more to get RSL shuttlecock instead?

Aeroplane Black and Red
Use Aeroplane black label or red labels. Their quality is excellent. Two of Melbourne biggest badminton Associations, Mountain District BA (MDBA) and Central BA (CBA), are using them. MDBA uses black Aeroplane black label and CBA use both black and red labels. Aeroplane black label is $22 per dozen and red label is $20 per dozen only.

I am not familiar with the way how aeroplane shuttlecocks are ranked (colour). Can someone help me out here?

Yes, that is Aeroplane Black. Aeroplane also uses color bands on the cork to distinguish the grade as well. Some other brands also use a color band on the cork to classify grade also. Aeroplane EG1101 has round feather tip and EG1130 is pointed http://www.badmintonalley.com/Aeropl...ane-eg1130.htm.
I have used the type that is one grade lower, Aeroplane red, and they are also IBF. Last around 1.5 game for intermediate level mens doubles. Even if 3 feather are 50% damaged the shuttle did not wobble.

I think the rank for Aeroplane (from best to worst) is Black, Red, Green and Blue. However, I think they have 2 numerical series, 1 for domestic market (101, 201, etc) and 1 for export (the EG etc)?
