    hi to all!!

    i'm from Philippines.

    i have an armortec 900-power (3u,,stringed at 27 with BG-85) and bought

it last saturday.(at Chris Sports Festival)

i played with it only twice.(last sunday and this monday).

and i'm surprise because it was hard to smash but it is only stiff,

not extra stiff. ang hirap hirap mag-smash! you need to have more arm

strength to feel the POWER of your SMASHES!! and ang bagal pumunta sa

baba yung shuttlecock if you smash!!

i hope that if i play this racket many times already, i wish that i can feel

the power of my smashes!! and hoping that i can easily cope with my

    armortec-900 power.

but by the way,, which one's the best?

armortec 700? or armortec 900-power? or armortec 900-technique?

i love to smash!! but i want to improve my backhand. :)

    HELP ME PLEASE!

    i'm new here :)

    thank you.

    :):):)

oh,, by the way.. i have an carlton 9900 nano power,,

anyone who knows what is the flex of carlton 9900 nano power?

    thanx again.

    maraming salamat po. MABUHAY!!:):D

At700 has the most power due to its flex and it being the head heaviest technically. As for the string how bout BG 66 or NBG 98. bout should give you the max power you can obtain

I think BG80's would be a good a choice as it is a good choice for "hard hitters". But if you are to string at really high tensions, BG65 or bg70 would be a good string.

I currently have 3 armortec 900 techniques. When Yonex always release a power and technique (attack/ defense), I always go for the latter as it gives me more control without the loss of too much power.

Since using the technique, my backhand drops and backhand smashes as well as clears have become soo much easier.

Though generally, the lighter frame and slight head heavyness allows me to generate that whip a lot easier with the technique.

I personally feel the technique is easier to use than the power, but it's my personal preference. I'm much more of a defensive player as well as a net player when playing doubles. I currently use the 4U weight for my technique as it gives me really quick defensive manouevarbility (however u spell it) as well as making net shots much quicker.

The 4U weight gives me more than enough power for me to make those net kills as well as smashing from a poor lift from my opponents.

Playing in singles with my racket is slightly more difficult because it doesn't have as much power as the 900-P, but that does not say that you don't generate good power, because it does. For a hard hitter who wants to make full use of their strength, then the 900-P is more benficial to them, however I'm not a particularly extreme smasher, though I can occasionally rip one out of the bag, so the technique is suited more towards players like me (net plays)

I was using BG 68 ti's at 24lbs, but have recently switched all rackets to bg 80's at 24lbs. It just felt like a better string and gave me gripping power whereas my 68's were a little slippery. Getting clean strikes with 80's felt much more solid and powerful whilst netshots were easier and more controllable due to the grip. I would say 68's are a good string, but you'll find that you probabaly want to try something new after getting used to them. (the 68's ti are standard on at900 techniques).
