Dear BCBF members in Europe, 2 questions and I need your help. I will be transfer flight in London in August, If I have a package, is there anywhere in Heathrow airport to ship by UPS, FedEx or DHL. I will be in Copenhagen, Denmark for 2 days, if I ship any badminton equipments from Denmark to other EU country, will there be any terrif or custom charge? Thanks for your help in advance.
within European country's there're no custom charges, welcome to the monetary union The shippingcharge I believe can be found at http://www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw (the UK parcel-post) good luck!
I don't think there is, but I'm not really sure. Maybe you can find some contact info from their website and you could email them to check. www.heathrowairport.com
If this is a package bought in the UK, and you intend to take it out of the EU, then you can Claim the VAT back, which if bought in the UK is 17.5%. Keep the receipt, and in Heathrow airport there is a customs section where you can get a form, fill in some details, and you can laim the money back.
Hi Jamesd, What I mean is I am changing flight in Heathrow. If I bring in some badminton items for BCBF members. Is there any where in the airport to ship it to UK address. It is cheaper to ship w/in UK than I ship it in US.
I See. I just looked on the Royal mail website, and there is a Post office Branch in Heathrow Terminal two. There are free buses around the Airport to transport you from terminal to terminal, so as Long as you have time you should be able to get their quite easily. You will need to pack the stuff first though. The address is Here: Heathrow Terminal Two T2 Terminal 2 Heathrow Airport(London) Hounslow Middlesex TW6 1EX Taken from here: http://www.parcelforce.com/portal/p...stOfficeSearch&catId=7500082&_requestid=25251 NB. The Post code I used was the main contact for BAA at Heathrow. Hope this is helpful.
