Hi guys, i've just started playing badminton again 2 months ago. Looking for a recommendation for a resonably priced racquet. - play twice a week, sometimes can go 4hrs+ in one of the sessions - mostly doubles, mix in some singles - beginner's level - tiny wrists, girly arms, little strength, even less stamina - have trouble clearing/ driving to the backcourt, esp. late in the session. Takes a lot of effort. Probably not the best technique, still working on that... - currently using isometric 30 & wilson ti power - looking for something under $100 cdn, pref. 3U - want to be a driving/dropping type player, smashing power is not my priority right now should i be looking for a flexible shaft over stiff? head heavy over light headed? right now the ones that fit my price range are: Wilson v8, v6 (great price, v6 = flex, head heavy, 3u) mp21 (really pushing the budget) mp23 (are they phasing this model out?) cab800LT (xtra flex) cab8400Ti (discontinued?) cab8600Ti mp29light / at150 (probably just over budget) Any other ones/brand that i can add to my list? I'd advice you to get the wilson v6. It's the racquet that I learned to play with. I find it very easy to use. I've got nothing but good things to say about the racquets. The ones i have is not headheavy, they lean more towards the oposite. I don't know if they have changed them lately?

thanks guys! Flexible and light head... sounds like mp21... can someone tell me their impression of the cab 8600ti? Doesn't see many people using/recommending it. Is there a SOTX or Victor racquet that's similar to mp21 and in my price range?
cab8600 is more a beginner racket. it is light, but i feel not flexible enough. i would say great beginner racket, but i feel the isometric 75mf is a better racket for the same price. it is a lot more forgiving especially for a beginner. i dunno about sotx or victor
Go for Carlton Aerospeed 29 87 g Oval medium stiff up to 28 lbs even balanced It feel light and easy to control as well as for defence. Also have a power enough but for clearing and smashing...I think it suitable for double player.
Light and Flexible are what your looking for - Ashaway VB, Carlton Powerblade Lite, Fleet FT85, Yonex Nano 6000? They should all do the job.
