Fake 100MP or B-760DF+
Both of these rackets are $35AU both with string. MP100 is high end fake racket while B-760DF+ is a basic racket(aluminium/steel)
Which one should i choose?Last edited by phandrew; 06-01-2007 at 02:04 AM. Reason: typo

You say it is a high end fake. However, that mya only be in terms of looks, the playability is very likely to be way off the original mp100.
If you can, I'd save up to buy a graphite/ titanium made racket.

Are you sure the fake MP100 is made out of graphite? It might be steel...

I'm not sure. I was just saying that he should save up money to buy a genuine and better racket than a fake or a bottom line racket.

Save a bit more, for a decent all graphite racket if you just play for fun. It does not have to be Yonex.

yeah, if that's your budget, then i'd rather get a decent, non-yonex racquet.

The truth is, for $35 AU, there are not a lot of good new racquets choices out there. I would try to ask friend or club member to see if anyone has a used racquet for sale if $35 AU is the budget. IMHO, to get a good playable new racquet, you might need to save up to $45 AU before you can fine one.

Don't get a fake. Some fakes are good racquets, but others are just crap. Don't risk it. Also, fakes tend to be nothing like the actual racquet.

I am sure you can get a used Apacs racket for 35 AUD which will def perform better than a fake. I remember that someone was selling a few Apacs racket around $40 mark. I think they were from Melbourne as well.
Best of Luck!

dont ever buy fake, they dont play the same and their quality is all in looks and never in performance. my friend had 4 fakes from ebay, 3 have been destroyed within the year....do the math, $15 each if you use 4/year $60 per year! (all prices are in usd
) get a real racket, many great brands out there for many different price ranges.

I was planning to buy a fake from ebay for my brother to play badminton for a month. I might as well buy a real MP100 and use that as my spare racket

A good percentage of fakes are known as poor playability and bad durability. A lower end fake can be dangerous to use, and even cause injury to player himself or the ppl around. There were reported incidents (death) caused by broken rackets. Therefore, better don't touch the fakes.

There is no way we as members can give a reccomendation to you on this subject, since the fact it is a fake means that we cannot possibly know how the rackets plays.
If it was real, then the consistency of the manufacturer means we can tell you how it plays, but in this case we cannot.
And how do you know it is a high end fake? I don't believe there is such a thing, and if there is then how do you know if it is high or low end??
