The 2007 Djarum Indonesia Open turned out to be Mette Schjoldagers last international event, as the 30 year old doubles player has decided to end her 12 year long international carrier and from now on only play in the Danish league. - “Since my knee injury last year it has been so and so with the motivation, and I lost the last bit of it, when I wasn’t selected for the Sudirman Cup squad. So now it’s time to quit”, says Mette Schjoldager. In the last six month she played with Lars Paaske in the mixed doubles, but before that she and Jens Eriksen was a successful pair for seven years and together they reached the semi finals at the 2004 Olympics in Athens and topped the world rankings. :crying::crying::crying: Source: BadZine.Info Link: http://www.badzine.info/index2.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=351&Itemid=33&pop=1&page=0
