You will find many sports shops in Tianhe Sports Stadium (Tianhe Tiyu Guan as they pronounce it in Mandarin). You can get there by underground.
Is there anyone who is currently living in Guangzhou? I just need to know the prices of the gear and would appreciate if someone could help me out. cheers

Is better and safer if you just goto Hong Kong to get badminton gears. Is a little cheaper and chances of getting a knock off in China is pretty high

Sorry for my late reply, just got back in GZ and I checked it out at Tianhe Sports Center today. Kason 300A: rmb1380 (approx $172) Woven 9: rmb1030 (approx $128) RSL XP2: I forgot this model when I was there but did stop by the RSL shop and got a name card of the vendor. gotta check it tomorrow. For all the rackets you can have 30% discount or 40% off without string.
RSL X2 (variant of XP2) sells at ￥1920，same discount. crazy. not worthier than Yonex nano 9000. btw,to all the shops inside the TSC, you'll have to find them one by one on internet, coz they stand severally for their own companies or brands, not for TSC.
