Hi All, My friend went to a Badminton shop and he says that for at least the MP-66 and AT700 that you need to use two pieces of string to string new racquets instead of a single piece. This results in four knots instead of two. Is this correct because other retailers appear to use just the single string? who is telling the truth. cheers MC
sorry AZN, what i meant was that he says u must use two strings to string a Yonex racquet otherwise it will ruin the racquet and void the warranty thanks MC
Yonex recommend the 2 string method (otherwise warranty is void) but others such as SOTX use one string method. Personally I prefer the 2 string method.
Here is my suggestion: Do whatever you want with non-Yonex racquet. For Yonex racquet: Do wahtever you want after the warranty is over.
