I use the Karakal Kumfy on all my badminton and squash racquets. It's very thick, tacky, and super-absorbant. I buy them in bulk and wouldn't be seen without them. Minor drawback: they only come in yellow and purple!

If you want thick and light replacement grip, then you should try using towel grip. I believe towel grip would be lighter than synthetic grip of equal thickness.

But they the towel thickness would worn out pretty fast and you need to change them regularly.

Yes it does too. But thickness can be easily acheived by overlaping the towel grip more, with or without adding another overgrip below.

yonex Grap tape is the lightest grip you can get, build layers up with that if you want. Alternativley you can get shrink fit grips, or like me you can wind you own PU grips on, want it thicker, wind it closer, want it tapered start thick end thin etc....

Yep, Yonex aerotec replacement grip the lightest replacement grip, only drawback is that its not as soft as most replacement grips

i tend to regrip my handles thick, 1 replacement grip + 1 overgrip. and i think that adds weight to the racket handle and distorts the headheavinnes/headlightness of my racket. how do i counter this?

Lead tape either at the 12 o'clock position or 2 and 10's/3 and 9's, depends how much weight you want to compensate for but adding weight to the handle really makes little diference to the feel of the racquet.

oh... really? not much difference? hmm i just changed all my overgrip and replacement grip. i gripped it thinner than what i usually have.
1 replacement grip, 2 overgrips (but still thinner). nothing wrong if i add another overgrip right?

If its comfortable to hold and your still able to change grip quickly and accuratley I would say its not a problem to put another overgrip on.
