I would like to clarify that Q-Ray brand is not Phiten. Q-Ray had made some outrageous claims are that scientifically unfounded nor proven. However, these 2 products relies on paid sport personnels and selected testimonies for marketing. I'm not here to denies their claims as i never tested them before. I prefer to let individual to make your own judgement.

In Japan, you can't sell a product that doenst have any effect. That is really not the Japanese way.

I used to be a sceptic of Phiten products.. and honestly, still am slightly sceptical.

But I've met too many people now who says it works, friends, coaches, etc.

My friend bought the necklace and claimed her fatigue, giddiness etc went away. I've always known her to be pretty sickly, so I thought it was just a psychological effect.

Another friend of mine injured his wrist, and bought one of the plasters, and again, told me it works and I put on that face when I saw it on his wrist(I never imagined he was the kind to fall for it).

Then during a tournament I saw my coach having 2 Phiten plasters on his neck! Again, that sceptical face and even more sceptical question, "You actually believes it works??" His reply? "Yes, it works, and I got it free from the shop, no harm trying." The shop was giving out free samples.

In conclusion.. I think.. it does work. Seriously. I was really really sceptical of this product(I'm sceptical of nearly everything), but after seeing people I know who claim that it works..

I'm still considering whether I should buy a Phiten product or not though.

I'm more of the 'self-medicating' kinda person. Hahaha. Doctors don't like me(they ban me from badminton) and I don't like medicine.

So Phiten may work.. going to check the price in 1 U when I can.. if it doesn't cost that big of a bomb I may just risk buying it(or perhaps the better word is 'gamble').

does it really work? i was able to get some sample phiten patches at the javitts center running expo prior to the new york marathon last month. i used it on my hurting knee. the pain was not relieved.

The patch itself is not a miracle pain reliever. You may need to have your knee checked.
