how does powerball work????
hey i've been using those gripper things to strengthen my forearm, and i just found out my brother has a powerball. it's a neon blue(not pro, and no speed gauge)
my brother is away in las vegas for 2 weeks so i was wondering if som1 here could tell me how i get it to work??
i put the red cord in and pulled it and started spining my hand palm facing the ground, and it would just stop spining after 5-10 seconds...

I imagine that it involves some kind of rotating disc attached to a motor. The disc would have an off-centre centre of balance, which causes the ball to oscillate as the disc spins. You might have several discs to give more planes of oscillation to the ball.

there should be a string like a shoe lace that u put one end into a hole
in the internal wheel, roll it up on the wheel then pull to start off the wheel
spinning in good speed , how to keep it spinning and going faster is the key

large circular motion from the wrist. i dont know how to explain it properly but you can 'feel' when you are doing it correctly.

click starting the gyro and then click the play button.
powerball and dynaflex are like the same thing... iono why they even have different names... they're the same color same shape same function and same usage etc... haha

Get the ball started - then make slow circular motions, say about 30cm diameter circle in about 1 second. You will know straight away that you've got the timing right as the ball tends to rattle a little if not. When you've got it going faster you need to build the motion a little faster with smaller circles.
My record is 14121rpm. Its good fun, not sure of the benefit to badminton tho.

You want to rotate your wrists in a way that acts against the forces that the powerball exerts. (I rotate in an anti clockwise motion - some may find a clockwise motion easier and natural)
Do it slowly, like a second for each full wrist movement (revolution). Once you feel you are in sync (most important - SYNC) with the powerball - feels as if your spinning gets "hooked on" to the gyroscopic forces, then you slowly and start increasing the speed.
If you do it too fast then you are wasting a lot of energy trying to get it to "hook". Just practice a couple of times and you'll get the feeling.
