OH ok here are my answers 1: I play about 2 times a week. And I'm getting really serious about it now. I wanna be able to go to the regionals on the high school team 2: I'm more of an all round. MY smashes are just a little weak tho. But I find I can move around easily, and have pretty good strength throughout my body. 3: I care just a little about durability so that I wont have to spend that much, but I dont want the durability to damage teh performance 4: NOthing over 200$ CAN
Well i think i would recommend an At500 since its an all around racket, good durability and good performance =] and its under $200. Unfortunately, i haven' tried any other brand so cant recommend any others. Im sure some BC members would love to help you out =]
well in Ottawa its costs about $170 and the good thing about it is that since its cd coded...you get 6 months warranty on it if you break it(manufacture defect) But look around for posts talking about Sotx because they are well known for durability, performance and of course..PRICE! =]
I looked around, an di see that theres different versiouns or soemthing. Is this true? ANd btw, what weight would you reccomend?
I hear the armorec 500 has a new look but im not sure which one is old and which one is new is the black-white old? or is the blue-greyish old?
Kason TSF 100 is a good all-around racket, and with a 24+ lb in tension there won't be a lack of power with the smashes and offensive shots. I think you could get it at HK for a good price and there is much less fake rackets for this brand, especially in Hong Kong.
The black and white is the new At500...as for weight..3ug4 is standard...Oh yeah, if you wanted to try Sotx go to this site: http://www.mjstrings.ca/badmintonracquets.php. Only thing is, you have to pay with credit card or through paypal.
