New to VRC

    Hello all,
    I'm new to Vancouver and just joined VRC. I'm 24 and have been playing for about 4 years seriously and wanted to find a couple of partners to practice with. Either that or it would be great to know when a good drop in time is. The 3 times i've been, around 7pm, the courts have been somewhat empty and difficult to find players to hit with. Anyhow, let me know if you're interested in playing or doing drop-ins.

    Welcome to Vancouver and to VRC. You can join our group when we play on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights. We usually start around 9:30pm. Please do tell us more about yourself. It's quite daunting to new members when they first join up. A little innocuous information about yourself would go a long way to break the ice:).

    I'm just here for the summer and then I'm back to Toronto to finish up grad school. I play doubles mostly since I'm rarely fit enough to play singles, but I enjoy both.

    Thanks cappy, as of now I don't have a regular schedule but soon it will probably turn torwards weekend play mainly + whatever weekday play work allows. I'll try to make it out one of those days you mentioned at 9:30, likely saturday, and can introduce myself then.

    You might want to get some of the contacts of members (ie cellphone numbers) just incase you get left out the door heheh...
