Well i took off the orginal factory grip so i was wondering if there any yonex replacement grips with similar tackyness and thickness... and uhm where to get them because around the bay area where i live united badminton club and smash city doesnt carry any with them.
$10 MSRP for replacement grip. It is good for both tennis and badminton. You just need to cut them for badminton. I have 1 if you really want them.
Interesting thing: I'm quite notorious for wrapping grips for people. I take my time and do it quite nicely if I must say so myself. Recently, my friend and I toyed with towel grips and neither of us liked it. So I put a new Nano Replacement Grip on her's. (The grey kind with the red dots like the one on the NS8000) I bought one for myself, but I decided not to use it because my racquet is about to crack. The next time I have to restring it will likely be the end of its short life. I decided to steal the Nano grip off my broken NS8000. To my suprise, they are vastly different in quality. The one off the NS8000 does not have the sticky adhesive on the back. It's thinner and harder. The replacement grip I bought is very soft, cushiony, thick and has adhesive on the back. Just an interesting discovery.
Hi Fishmilk, Sorry to ask this, are you sure the replacement grip is genuine? As far as I know, Yonex does not sell Nano Replacement grip with red dot. They sell the more generic replacement grip like AT700 and older. They are also used for tennis. Hi Xp, I just checked, the replacement frip is suppose little thicker with adhesive on the inside. However, You can make it thinner by pulling it harder when you regrip it. I will post the picture of the replacement grip later tonight.
Yes, it is genuine NS grip, and it is one of the two kind basic grips from Yonex in the Canadian market. My guess is that NS stands for NanoSpeed, it is a very good basic grip, I used this one to replace the old basic grip on my AT800OFF.
Sorry to bring up this old thread. Does any Singaporean know if Queensway sell this replacement grip?
why is the ns grip specialized for nanospeed? what does it offer on a nanospeed that it doesnt on other racquets?
