Hi, I am just wondering. Everyone says that the muscle power 100 provides excellent power. Recently, 2 raquets were released, the armortec 900 technique and the armortec 900 power. Which of them provides the most power?? Which of them is the best???

Neither provide any power. Neither is best.

The source of Power is the player's muscle and technique.

How much power gets to the shuttle is a combination of
    muscle+technique+racquet+string+tension

some people might find they get more power using the AT900-P
other people might find they get more power using the AT900-T

No, if you're careful and avoid clashing then it won't break easily. MP100 can take high tensions very easily.

Depends how you swing, your technique, etc. I'll bet a pro could get the same amount power from each.

not entirely. the racquets have a maximum potential and some are designed for a specific purpose. not a one-size fits all. diff style of gameplay

Oh thanks guys! Thanks for making a effort to reply me! However I'm still deciding on which racket should I buy... I have four choices in mind: Armortec 900 technique, Armortec 900 power, Armortec 700 and the Muscle power 100. Actually, I'm just a begginer, but I'm sooo in love with the Armortec 900 technique, because everyone says that it's good... My parents said that i'm mad... It cost about 300+ bucks for the armortec 900 power and technique in Singapore...It cost 250+ bucks for the armortec 700... I must buy it before the GST rise in 1st July.... LOL
    What should I do?
Should I still go for the armortec 900 technique?
Is it better than the armortec 700???

    Thanks

Oh thanks guys! thanks for making an effort to reply me! However I'm still wondering which raquet should I buy. I have three choices in mind: 1.Armortec 900 technique (costs between $329 to $349 in Singapore)
2.Armortec 900 power (same as technique)
    3.Armortec 700 (costs between $220 to $249 in Singapore)
Actually.... I'm just a beginner... BUT I'm so in love with these raquets!!! Even my parents say that I'm mad. I'm considering the armortec 900 technique... Acording to my school teacher... Ok... I asked him whether Yonex is just talking rubbish about the nanotechnology raquets. He said No. He said if the raquet is too stiff, it would cause your elbow to swell. That freaked me out when I heard it. So... which of these raquets that I listed above isn't so stiff, has good smashing power, good control and is light.

    Oh Thanks

thanks! guys! I appreciate the time and effort you guys have spent in replying me! Oh by the way, which racket should I buy? I have three raquets in mind.
    1) Armortec 900 technique (costs 329 to 349 in Singapore)
    2) Armortec 900 power (cost the same as the technique)
    3) Armortec 700 (cost between 229 to 250)
Im a beginner actually... And Im going for these raquets cause I love them!
Even my parents said that Im crazy.
I heard that Armortec 900 Technique is very fragile. Is it true?
I do not want to spend large sum of money and break the raquet in just a short while... Should I go for the Armortec 700 instead? Someone please help me!

I string my MP100 to 30lbs and have had 2 - 3 light clashes with only paint chips so I wouldn't say the mp100 is fragile. If you're going with a racquet, choose a less stiff one to learn on! The At900T should suit your needs for now.

If you want power, like others said, the more stiff (powerful) racquet won't help @ the beginner level and might even make it worse since your swing may not be fast enough.

Not really actually... Chen Hong getting a 300km/h smash with NS8000
Taufik Hidayat getting a 305km/h smash with AT700.

Anyways, Head heavy racquets are easier to get power out of due to greater momentum, so AT900P is good. I've tried MP100, but it's really stiff, and hard to use. Both give crazy power anyways.

@original poster-- AT700 is really head heavy. I would say that the AT900T is the most user friendly.

i have 9 paint chips all from clashes on my MP100 and it is still fine so i wouldn't say the MP100 is fragile as well

Agree with Hitman and your parents.

As you are a beginner, don´t buy any of those racquets.

You should have a good technique to handle the stiffnes of high-end-racquets and the high tension they need to perform well.
Having a good technique is impossible for a beginner. I would recommend you buying an even balanced, flexy racquet to start with.
