well i am deiciding to get a new racket and i have been struggling on what one to get Armortec 900 power or At 700... i been reading alot of reviews and people say that the at700 produces alot more power than the 900 power and i don't know if thats true??? So if you guys know anything about these 2 rackets and what one is better please reply..
its all based on technique...but the at700 is more head heavy so you might get a bit more power, but like i said...all on technique* =]
In the right hands there shouldn't be a huge difference. To me the biggest difference is that the AT700 has a longer and more flexier shaft.
If you play doubles, AT900P is better. Both are good for singles. At700 is hard to use cause of its head heaviness. AT900P is hard to use cause of the stiffness.
dude I'm only 14 and you are telling me the AT700 is hard to handle??? Wow, you must have toothpicks for arms or something because it's working fiiiiineee for me. Plus color is only a small factor of a racquet, it depends if you are comfortable and intact with your racquet and also pending on your technique.
It's harder to handle, but if you work on it, it's easy to handle. It does work fine for me, and I dont' see why you have to make a statement like that. All high end racquets are difficult to use for some reason, and for the AT700, it's because of it's head heaviness.
all high end racquets are hard to use for newbies/equipment junkies because they don't have the form and skill yet.
When I started playing badminton in 1977, I used to play badminton for 3 - 4 hours, and all rackets were having wooden frames... And you are right, the AT700 in your hand is toothpick compared to the wooden ones. Age is never the problem, is the 'head' that is having the problem... Thanks.
both are excellent racquets but try and borrow it from someone before buying either one. a friend of mine use my ex-700 some months ago and now his arms hurt as he was not use to the stiffness of it.
