    can i please just check that the service in doubles is indeed wide?

    according to wikipedia image- it does not appear as though it is... (and i normally trust wiki!)

    Compare to singles, doubles services line is only 1.5 feet wider on each side. I don't think it's such a great difference...

    yes, indeed it is wide

    anyway there isn't even anything in wiki that suggests that it is not wide
