    Guys

I got this racket in Singapore today. It looks like Yonex Muscle Power 99 but Muscle Power 9 is printed on the shaft instead. I search the web for Muscle Power 9 but cant find anything. Is my racket a fake?

Looks like one of the lower end SE Asian only model. Can you pot the picture of ser# and cone code? Also does it say "Developed by Yonex in Japan" or "Made in Japan" Also the butt cap will help too.

you won't find that model anywhere on catalouges or on the net i think. there are quite a few budget MPs out there now, i've seen the 7 and 8 as well. never tried one, but they are definitely not fake.

MP 9 is the low end model of Muscle Power series. I checked with one of the sales person in Ranking and she told me the frame is not carbon. Thus, the cheap price.

How much you bought it for? My colleague got it at sportslink @ $49.90 abt 1month ago. I found it as a pretty decent racket.
    Just curious

Royal Sporting House promotes Wilson brands rackets (Tennis and Badminton), that's why their prices for Yonex are very expensive. Unless you are a Wilson rackets fans, if not you will not want to buy Yonex rackets there.
