Would you have some Li-Ning rackets to review?
No, I don't plan to purchase any of the LN rackets. They are not readily available in the U.S. and too expensive abroad.

    Default Wilson K-Tour Racquet

    Hi DinkALot,

Have you play with Wilson K-Tour racquet before? Can you post a review on this? Thank you so much

i wonder when the list will be updated with a review of the Zelm racket. *wink wink*.

it's too bad you're such an honorable person and you aren't reviewing the panda power rackets. i have a feeling they'd be excellent+ across the board.

I need to have the powers that be update the list...I know, I'll talk to Oldhand.

As for rating the Panda Power rackets, no way they are "Excellent+" across the board, not even close. If I were to "rate" the rackets (which I'm not), it would be something like this:

Note: a change in the weight and BP could alter the ratings significantly.

    Panda Power Trinity, 86.5g, BP288
    Overall: Excellent-
    Ideal For: Doubles/Singles
    Play Style: All-Around
    Stiffness: Very Stiff -
    Balance: Moderate+
    Frame Feel: Good+
    Frame Stability: Good
    Racket Power: Good+
    Racket Defense: Excellent
    Frame Durability: Good+
    Paint Durability: Good-
    Shaft Durability: Excellent
Comments: relatively durable, paint finish a bit soft, good balance, good all-around.

    Panda Power Ultra, 86.5g, BP290
    Overall: Excellent-
    Ideal For: Doubles/Singles
    Play Style: Attacking
    Stiffness: Very Stiff+
    Balance: Moderate+
    Frame Feel: Excellent-
    Frame Stability: Excellent
    Racket Power: Excellent or Average
    Racket Defense: Good
    Frame Durability: Excellent+
    Paint Durability: Good-
    Shaft Durability: Excellent+
Comments: only powerful if you can flex the shaft otherwise it's just average performing. Extremely strong but thick frame and shaft. Paint is a bit soft. A true work horse.

But, I'm not "rating" the rackets...so...

Have you or anyone else here tried APACS Lethal 60? I am wondering how it really compares to Lethal 50. I saw on the UK website that Lethal 70 is also double shaft so it seems like APACS has not given up on the double shaft for this line of rackets.

Have both the Ultra [lightest available and slightly head heavy] and the trinity which I believe is 86g and bp 285.

Think I would agree with Dinkalot and say that his review if fair and accurate. I use the Ultra right now and am enjoying the challenge of it . The Trinity is a breeze to use and really like it but commanding the power of the ultra is compelling.

Anyone who knows Dan well realizes he strives for the best in anything he does. I personally look forward to trying his new creations as I know they are only going to get better and better. Really am enjoying the current ones and
the woven prototype I snitched away from him sure packs a nice punch as well.

Master Dink, can make a review of RSL Heat 9180? I just bought this racquet and I just want to know how you review it at your level of play. Thanks!

If I have not reviewed a racket it's one of three reasons:

    1) I did not purchase the racket

    2) I purchased the racket but did not get a chance to review it

    3) I reviewed the racket but didn't update the file

99% of the time it is reason # 1

i feel sorry for you, you've said that so many times, and yet they still don't listen. how many copies do you usually purchase to do a testing? or do you only buy one?

RSL, SOTX, Yonex, Chao Pai and APACS I usually test three of the same rackets. Other more obscure or hard to get rackets I test one.

If only testing one, I make try to make sure the racket is "on-spec" and try to give it as fair a test as possible. If I feel the racket is "off", I won't report the findings of that specific racket in my reviews and try to get another one that I feel is "normal".
