you have never anyone string a racket b4? then, u should try to pre-weave the racket first cos it is safer plus since you are new, it does not require you to weave while tensioning (dangerous if you are too slow as there is pressure on the racket. imagine the yourself being operated for too long on the operating table)

yeah, but I can only do the mains(pre-weave), have to do the cross after the mains are tight... isn't it? I use 2 strings(4 knots)..

you can pre-weave the crosses as well. it would feel wierd at first cos you are weavin thru untensioned mains. weaving the entire racket minimizes the chance of the the racket breaking during stringing. plus you do not need an awl for those shared grommets.

i'm not sure if dink's videos of pre-weaving and post-weaving is still available. you might want to ask dink to reupload it for you.

ok, thank you for explaining this, I will do pre-weave the crosses as well tonight, try to add the photo before 11.59pm UK time.

Dink doesn't have the pre-string one any more, he will record again hopefully in the near future ) to show his muscle at the same time. cool!

If the main string broke like that then the grommet was probably broken; did you change the broken grommets beforehand?

I am not sure whether the grommet is broken, will check it beforehand tonight before my second try.
