Well, you've bought it, so why not try it out and answer your own question? Sure, I can say that its a great racket, but you won't know for sure until you have used it. If you can use it in any match or practice and feel comfortable using it, there is no reason why it cannot be used competitively - Doubles or singles. You see pro's using it cai yun (doubles), hidayat (singles) - (they are pro's i kno, but just shows the dexterity of the racket) Also, judging by ur high string tension, i assume u are not a beginner but more advanced, so the better u are in terms of skill, the more advantages u can bring out of the racket.
