Who has the best low service in doubles?
Hi!
Who has the best low service in doubles from all active players?!?
What do you think?
You can choose male or female players...
Who has the most consistent service, makes no mistakes and what service never gets attacked?

no doubt fu hai feng does when he's totally on a hot streak...but when he starts making mistakes and doesn't change, then it gets pretty bad...another choice probably would be gao ling....i've yet to see her make any high number of serving errors at all..

Tony Gunawan and Gao Ling, both rock solid.

Gail Emms has an excellent low serve, even under maximum pressure.

Fu Hai-Feng's low serve has some style added onto it, and it "looks" better than any pros from my point of view.

Tony Gunawan will always look at his racket+shuttle, then opponent, then shuttle again before he serves... which is like so serious and professional.
On the other hand, Tony's former partner Halim used to have one of the worst low serve I have ever seen... just in that one match at WC 2001 against Kim/Ha.. noticed how many illegal serves +service mistakes he had made.

yeah, tony's serve is very consistent.
the only player who's serve gives me the scares everytime is martin lungaard, and in this new scoring system, it's such a handicap.

Tony Gunawan for consistency, accuracy and style.

FHF? his service is quite shaky...his serve is good, when it doesn't hit the net.. otherwise, it is inconsistent...
CY is a better server...
but i think GL is the best server...

Candra Wijaya - there's almost no pause between his "ready" position and the serve being away - very disruptive.
FHF's is definitely the most stylish, though, as it looks so casual.

i've noticed tons of indonesian players have that "is everyone ready?" position... shuttles away!!!" style. its very unsettling.

I would say male: Lars Paaske, female: Gao Ling

i always thought candra rushes his serves so much that it almost looks like it's illegal LOL..
