as I have stated on another post. If your technique is correct you can produce very loud sound even at 21lbs-18lbs. Dinkalot second that. I used a bg-65 at 21lbs for a year. And still get very loud boom. IF you hit correctly you WILL get the sound. Not because of any tension. Bg-80 does give you a bit more bang though. And again it doesn't have to be at 25lbs for it to work.
best sound?? Want to explain on what sound you looking for? Some might want loud boom, some might like high pitch crispness.
Honestly, having the best sounding string is quite useless IMO... but you might want to give Yonex NBG-98 a try.
Not tried the NBG98 yet, so can't comment on that. But the most impressive sounding string I have tried so far, IMO is the BG68-Ti
Exactly. If you want a loud boom, BG80 at 22-25lbs. If you want that high pitch "ding", BG66 or NBG98 at 34lbs. sounds so sweet.
at 34lbs, how long can we hear that 'ding' sound? NBG98, maybe can last longer.... but BG-66?? that is why now, i use Bg-85. is it nice sound?
i like the sound generated by bg85 at 25-26lbs. bg80 ain't bad either but i would disagree than bg65 or bg65ti sounds good, maybe it's just me ...
