There is also a large Hong Kong orchestra coming to Melbourne to perform with them. Its being held at the Melbourne Town Hall. Tickets are $25, so please email me back if you would like to buy one. A Reminder: Chao Feng Chinese Orchestra's 25th anniversary concert on 19-Aug-2007 Greetings, Just a reminder that the event in which Toni-R is playing in her Chao Feng Chinese Orchestra's 25th year anniversary concert is coming soon... Sunday 19-Aug-2007. The other 2 players, Vivien-C and Eric-L who came with Toni-R to play with us at our CCC@Waverley, are also in the Chinese Orchestra. The traditional Chinese instruments performing will include the Erhu (bowed string), the Pipa (plucked string), the Sheng (wind), etc... The large Hong Kong orchestra invited to perform with them is the renowned Hong Kong YWCA Chinese Orchestra. So please email Robbo77 if you would like to buy tickets. Kiss Me, Kate . Greetings, Wesley Badminton Club invited CCC to attend a live theatre musical comedy, Kiss Me, Kate. Their longest existing club player, Brian James, is acting in it. I have been to several of his live theatre performances over the years and I have always found them excellent. Priced at $30, but valued at $60. Btw funds collected will be donated to promote Arts and Music in Melbourne schools. The Games will include Badminton, Golf, Soccer, Squash, Table tennis and Tennis. The 'extra' game will be the "Boat Race" - a challenge in beer drinking to determine which team is the fastest. Great fun ahead indeed!
