Thanks, it is an interesting information. I will try to experiment with it. In fact I used the pills rarely - only when I felt really out of energy and there were still some matches to play. (great to know that not me but the pills were guilty when I lost in semifinal :-))
Now I made some search on internet and indeed I found some info about the phenomena you described.

You're welcome.
It's actually surprising how many players are oblivious to this, even at a higher level. I once saw a match between two Swedish elite players, and one of them drank Coca-Cola between the games! There is probably ten reasons why you wouldn't want to drink that during a match, and the extremely high glucose content is only one of them!
He lost the match, by the way.

it's because of the mentality that if some is good then a whole bunch more is even better.
