Glad to hear it. I hope she'll get back to top form soon and pick up where she left off. She gave Gong Ruina such a hard time at the TC'04. I thought she'd surely be the one to break the Chinese dominance in women's singles.

She says her first target is a domestic event in April and that her ultimate goal is defending her Asian Games gold in Qatar at the end of 2006. She says she is capable of light training on the court now but that April will mark a 1-year convalescence.

The article says something like because the cruciate ligament was torn, they had to fold the wings(?). I have no idea what this would mean and guaranteed, a lot is lost in this translation and no, it doesn't say which one.

The anterior cruciate ligament is more commonly torn.

Posterior cruciate ligament is less commmonly injured, but when it is, that repair is technically more difficult.

I have seen her play in Malaysia with some of the former Malaysian national players, and i must said i am impressed.

She could be the one who will be able to take the chinese players if not for her injury. She has great style and she has good fighting spirit and good sportmenship. I heard one of our former national comment last year that she has great potential and a good control on her shots. At that time she was with Park Joo Bong and her team who are in Malaysia for tournament.

I hope she will made a good come back 2006. One day I hope to see our Malaysian Girls to made an impact like her.
