Hi you all, Ok, maybe you have been thinking to purchase your own stringing machine. Well if you have decided to do so, PLEASE, DON'T BUY YOUR MACHINE FROM EAGNAS. It's just totally shady business. Sadly all critisism people say about them is true. My story is this: I ordered Eagnas Combo 910 and they sent me Pro's Pro (!!!!!) which looked just a little bit like Combo 910. The mechanism seemed to be the same, but how can I be sure!? This machine was clearly used, it had scratches and dust all over it. I asked them why they sent me Pro's Pro machine when I paid for Eagnas machine. They answered "they are 100% same machines". Well, I couldn't care less if they were because it's not the point. If I buy a product X, I don't want to get product Y, that's so simple. And they didn't have any proof to show they really are the same machines. When I asked how to return the machine and if they were going to pay the shipping for me, I didn't get any reply. Boxes had arfaian.com all over them. To me it seems that this was just an extra machine for them and they wanted to get rid of it. They knew I'm not going to waste my money in returning this machine. Well, I'm just too mad to deal with them anymore, so I have given up. I made a huge mistake when I ordered my machine from them. Lesson is well learnt. I hope you other stringers will be smart enough to keep away from Eagnas products.
Welcome to the Eagnas nightmare. My Eagnas ST-250 was a used unit with deep scratches to one section. According to Master NGP, it's quite hopeless in dealing with Eagnas unless you live in LA. Master SH's suggestion sounds like a good way to try to get Eagnas's attention. Beware of very rude replies.
Also, your credit card comp might pick up the S/H cost to send it back. So it never hurt to contact your creditcard bank.
Oh, I didn't know I could do that. I'm from Finland and I've felt just totally helpless with this. I couldn't believe that this kind of fraud can really be happening. Not in Finland at least - this kind of business would have been closed for ages already! Thanks, let's see what's gonna happen...
Errrr...I never said that. I said, it's easier, OK, much easier to deal with Eagnas if you go to its warehouse/office.
Either.. ..she, Werner, is originally from Finland but is now living in Dallas OR she is originally from Dallas but is now living in Finland?!?!..
You forgot to add that it helps if your physique resembles DinkAlot's, i.e. "Do I look like someone you'd like to forego customer service on?" -dave
Yes, it never hurts to have NGP around when dealing with Eagnas . quote=DinkAlot;622884]Errrr...I never said that. I said, it's easier, OK, much easier to deal with Eagnas if you go to its warehouse/office. [/quote]
Werner is back here to sort things out! Interesting how my being from Finland made such a fuzz. So, I live in Dallas but I'm Finnish lady (Yeah, I know, I'm not good in picking up aliases.) and moving back to Finland soon (with my great Pro's Pro stringing machine!). And still confused how Eagnas is still doing business. After all these complaints on all of these forums...
Hi, Werner: Sorry to hear your sad story. Please call your credit card company to dispute the credit card payment. Your credit card company will send your a dispute form for you to fill up and send back to your credit card company. Provide all the informations with some pictures to your credit card company. You credit card company will try to stop the payment to Eagnas or take that out from next time. Your credit card company will rate Eagnas badly. Hope this can help you.
Wow!, u kidding me, that's bull s***. How can a company even do that? If u paid money to them for a specific item, they should send u that, and only that, nothing else. You should do everything in you power to either get your money back, get the machine u payed for, or start a case with them.
You should post this on the tenniswarehouse forums and see what barry has to say, and then report to us.
First of all, so sorry for your situation Werner. As for me, I'm so glad that I didn't buy my stringing machine from Eagnas by heeding warnings from members on this forum. I hope this will serve as a warning for future stringing machine owners.
Just wondering it is that Eagnas that make bad machines, or Maxline have bad services and do things in their own little world? or both?
I just can't believe what I read. I always thought Eagnas only has some QA issues, but the overall deal was still acceptable. Now, I can see it's a total nightmare.
looks like eagnas has so many 'returns' that they have to find ways to 'unload' them first before they work on the new ones LOL
